The convent on the hill in Slavuta has survived several fires. Our painters helped the church regain its former appearance and grandeur.
Monumental painting has a twofold task: to bring architecture and painting together into a harmonious whole, and — through biblical scenes and images of Christ, the Mother of God and the saints — to create an atmosphere of prayer. The painting programme was designed individually around the architecture of the church.
